Below are important requirements about a freight delivery:
Address Change: Please let us know if the delivery address is incorrect BEFORE your order ships. If any part of the delivery address needs to be changed, it will result in expensive reconsignment fees charged to you. Please make sure you are entering the correct delivery address during your checkout.
Arrival of freight truck: Shipment may arrive on a 53′ truck. Please ensure that your shipping address can accommodate a vehicle of this size. Some deliveries may come on a smaller truck however, there is no way for us to know what size truck your order will be delivered on as it is ultimately up to the carrier. If your address is in an area that cannot accommodate this, we recommend shipping to an address that can. If you want to change the delivery address before it ships, or you need to discuss further options, please contact us BEFORE your order ships. Once the shipment has left its origin, you will be responsible for any holding, reconsignment, return shipping, or other charges associated with the order.
Contact Phone Number: The freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery time frame. If they cannot reach you, they will hold your order for 48 hours and then it will be shipped back to the warehouse and our return policy will apply. You will be responsible for the holding charges, the return shipping, and any other associated charges if this occurs.
Required Signature: Due to the handling required, these shipments can take additional processing time. Please be advised that you must be present at the time of delivery. Please note that when you sign off on the shipment, you are stating that everything has arrived. Delivery usually takes place on Monday through Friday during daytime business hours. If you miss the delivery, there may be a re-delivery charge. You will be responsible for unpacking and discarding the packing materials. The driver cannot help you move the package. Your order will be shipped on a pallet. Please inspect the packaging prior to the delivery agent’s departure. If items appear to be damaged or missing in any way, please write the damage or shortage on the freight bill, otherwise we will not be able to process any replacements/refunds.
Curbside Delivery: All freight orders include curbside delivery. The freight company is only obligated to bring your order to the curb or driveway. It is your responsibility to transport the delivery indoors. If you need help moving your freight shipment inside, you must make those arrangements privately and ahead of time as the carrier is not responsible for helping.
